This large size dubia cockroach starter colony is a great why to start breeding dubia roaches. This kit contains everything except the storage container you need to get up and going. If you are looking to start breeding your own food, this is a good starting place to get your feet wet.

Just received my order of the large colony starter plus 25 extra females, happy with the order I’d say about 5-10% of the large roaches were dead on arrival but given the amount I ordered I expected so, I still give a 5 star due to the easy and how well they were packaged

Too many dead
Have not had any issues with Dubi-Deli. This was my 2nd starter colony I purchased (the first dwindled down as I was apparently feeding off pregnant roaches). So, I purchased a 2nd colony. With exception of about 20 dead roaches, everything arrived well. I expect there will be some dead, so not a big deal to me. There were plenty alive to create a thriving colony.
It was exactly what I needed. Now I have the best food for my lizards and frogs.

I ordered the large colony and a handful were dead I believe because the order was delayed in shipping. I contacted customer support and they said they would replace them. I was thinking 10-20 more. Omg they sent like 100-200 more. Now it’s on me to make the colony thrive! Highly recommend! I am new to this and they have been very supportive and helpful with hints and tricks! About 2 or 3 didn't make the trip but overall they are doing great and I couldn't be happier. My first colony ever and the extra supplies were a huge help for my learning experience. Would definitely recommend to friends looking to start one!

Most of them arrived alive just a few dead ones as expected though, definitely will be ordering again
Ordered females and males also ordered large by the pound arrived quick . Few dead included xtra egg cartons and roach chow. I am pleased with my order .
The starter kit is great has everything you'll need in it to get going. Had a slight issue with the delivery due to heat during shipping. Contacted support and got response by email in no time and replacements sent out in just a few hrs. You guys are great.
Dubias were in fantastic condition, probably the best I've bought. Shipped so well packaged and so quick and easy. Amazing and will do business again.
Roaches arrived with about 20 dead, another 20 or so died the next day. This was not any fault of Dubideli as the temps dipped to about 8 degrees during delivery. I think it was very good considering I ordered 500 and the temps were so low.
Not many came dead so it gets an A+

The Dubias were received very fast (I think two day shipping to Arizona). This is my first time ordering Dubias, so I'm not sure what their behavior is supposed to be like after shipping, but for the most part they appeared to be healthy and lively.
I did have some dead loss, but only a few juveniles, and mostly some nymphs, no adults thankfully... probably about 15 or so total succumbed to the trip. A handful appeared to be dead, but when I picked them up, they started moving... so I placed those guys face down on orange slices, we'll see if they recover.
Will be ordering again!!
